# How to connect

## Create a DataDoe API key

- Go to [app.datadoe.com](https://app.datadoe.com/)
- On the left sidebar, click on **Integrations**
- Click on the **REST API** widget
- In the **API Keys** section, click on the green button **Create API Key**
- Give it a name and expiration date, then click on **Create API Key**
- Copy the API key and store it in a **secure** location
