## What is Search Query Performance (SQP)?

Search Query Performance (SQP) shows how shoppers find your products through Amazon search. For each search term, you can see impressions, clicks, add-to-carts, purchases, and Amazon Search Query Score.

DataDoe downloads weekly and monthly SQP data only for the ASINs you choose on a Seller Central account. The same ASIN list applies to both periods. Amazon does not provide this report for Vendor Central.

## Who can use SQP?

The Seller Central account must be registered in Amazon Brand Registry and have the Brand Analytics Selling Partner API role. Amazon lists these requirements in its [SQP report documentation](https://developer-docs.amazon.com/sp-api/docs/report-type-values-analytics#search-query-performance-report).

The report is available in these Amazon stores:

- North America: all stores
- Far East: all stores
- Europe: Spain, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and India

Vendor Central and ads-only accounts cannot use SQP data in DataDoe.

## Where do I choose ASINs to download?

1. Open [Sellers & Vendors](https://app.datadoe.com/sellers-and-vendors).
2. Find the Seller.
3. Select **SQP ASINs**.

Enter an ASIN and press Enter, or paste a list of ASINs. Each ASIN must contain 10 letters or numbers.

## How do I paste a list of ASINs?

You can paste ASINs separated by:

- commas
- tabs
- new lines

DataDoe splits the pasted text into ASINs and adds each one to the list. Invalid ASINs stay in the list so you can correct or remove them.

## How many ASINs can I add?

DataDoe allows up to **252 ASINs per Seller Central connection**.

If your ASIN list is empty, DataDoe does not download SQP data for that Seller.

## When SQP data arrives

When you add an ASIN, DataDoe downloads the six latest weeks and the six latest months of Search Query Performance (SQP) data that Amazon has published.

A week runs from Sunday to Saturday. Amazon publishes that week after Monday 12pm Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). A month is a calendar month. Amazon publishes it on the fifth of the following month (UTC). If you add an ASIN before those times, DataDoe uses the last week or month that is already published.

After that first download, DataDoe adds:

- one new week after Monday 12pm UTC
- one new month from the fifth of the month (UTC)

DataDoe requests each of those updates once. If the Monday request is missed, it requests the same week later, through Saturday.

The first download often takes several hours, and sometimes a day or longer. Later updates usually appear within a few hours. Amazon can delay SQP data or send incomplete data. If a week or month is missing, wait for the next download or [contact us](https://forms.clickup.com/9015200219/f/8cnj2ev-38615/AOYF9I35QFOXWJQXIG?type=Form&source=hub-search-query-performance-docs).

## How often can I change my ASIN list?

After you save changes, the ASIN list is locked for **72 hours**. You cannot change it until the lock ends.

Before saving, DataDoe asks you to confirm the change and tells you when you can change the list again.

The same 72-hour lock applies if you change the list through the REST API or MCP.

## Can I manage SQP ASINs through the API or MCP?

Yes. Use the public REST API or DataDoe MCP. Both write the same ASIN list as the Sellers & Vendors page.

REST endpoints (`https://api.datadoe.com`):

- `GET /api/v1/sqp-asins?sellerOrVendorId=...` — list configured ASINs
- `POST /api/v1/sqp-asins` — add ASINs
- `DELETE /api/v1/sqp-asins` — remove ASINs (JSON body)

MCP tools:

- `sqp_asins_get`
- `sqp_asins_add`
- `sqp_asins_remove`

Limits:

- **252 ASINs** per Seller Central connection in DataDoe
- **252 ASINs per REST request**, **252 ASINs per MCP call**
- After a change that updates the list, the list is locked for **72 hours**. Adding ASINs that are already present, or removing ASINs that are not on the list, does not refresh the lock.

Full schemas live in the [API Documentation](https://api.datadoe.com/api/v1/docs). The API and MCP accept new ASINs only for Seller Central accounts in supported stores. Amazon Brand Registry and Brand Analytics access are required to receive SQP report data. Removing ASINs does not delete historical SQP report data.

## What happens to data when I change my ASIN list?

Changing the ASIN list does not delete SQP data for ASINs you remove. DataDoe keeps that data according to your [retention policy](/hub/docs/datadoe-data/managing-data-tables). DataDoe only stops downloading new SQP data for ASINs that are no longer on the list.

## Where can I find my SQP data?

- In the app: configure ASINs in [Sellers & Vendors](https://app.datadoe.com/sellers-and-vendors), then request weekly or monthly SQP tables from [Exports](https://app.datadoe.com/exports). The [Search Query Performance (SQP)](https://app.datadoe.com/reports/search-terms) tab in Reports explains this.
- In the Data Scheme: use the weekly and monthly tables below.

## Which Data Scheme tables contain SQP data?

SQP data is in the Seller Central Data Scheme:

Each table includes the search term, how often shoppers searched for it, and how your ASIN performed: impressions, clicks, add-to-carts, purchases, and Amazon Search Query Score.

## What does Search Query Score mean?

Use `child_asin_search_query_score` in the weekly and monthly tables. Amazon's Search Query Score ranks a search query against other queries for the same ASIN based on overall performance. A score of 1 means it is the highest-performing query for that ASIN. It does not show the ASIN's position in Amazon search results.

The old column name, `child_asin_organic_search_rank`, is deprecated. It contains the same score and remains available for existing integrations. Do not use it for new queries; use `child_asin_search_query_score` instead.
