Ads Product Catalog

Ads Product Catalog (amazon_ads_product_catalog) lists products you can advertise in Amazon Ads. It includes ordinary seller products, vendor products, and books.

Ads Book Catalog (amazon_ads_book_catalog) is the previous name for the same data. It remains available. Use Ads Product Catalog for new reports and exports.

What each row means

One row is one product for one Ads connection. The row is identified by Organization, DataDoe Store, Ads connection, marketplace, ASIN, and SKU. DataDoe Store is your store in DataDoe, not an Amazon Store ID.

The same ASIN can have a different eligibility status on another Ads account. A missing SKU is null.

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display each have their own status, ineligibility codes, and ineligibility reasons. A missing status means DataDoe has no result for that program. It does not mean the product is ineligible.

observed_at_utc is the time of the latest product observation. Use it to see how fresh the row is.

DataDoe refreshes each Ads connection every three days. Each program stores at most 10,000 products. Results also depend on the account permissions and on what the Amazon Ads API returns. Amazon DSP eligibility is not part of this table.

Prices stay null when Amazon omits them or when the amount is not a number. Currency is not guessed.

Change a query

Replace the view name, and replace book_title with product_title. The other column names stay the same.

Before:

sql
1SELECT
2 book_title,
3 asin,
4 sku,
5 sp_eligibility_status
6FROM
7 `your_dataset.amazon_ads_book_catalog`

After:

sql
1SELECT
2 product_title,
3 asin,
4 sku,
5 sp_eligibility_status
6FROM
7 `your_dataset.amazon_ads_product_catalog`

Change a saved export

A saved export that uses Ads Book Catalog keeps using that table. Choose Ads Product Catalog as the source when you want the new name. DataDoe does not switch existing exports for you.

See the Data Scheme for column definitions.
