Connect Grok to DataDoe

Connect Grok at grok.com to DataDoe to ask about Amazon sales, advertising, and inventory. You sign in to DataDoe during setup.

For GrokBot, follow Using GrokBot.

Before you start

  • A DataDoe account with your Amazon accounts connected.
  • A Grok account you can sign in to.

For Grok Business or Enterprise, a team admin must first add DataDoe in the xAI console (opens in a new tab). Select your team, open Grok Business → Connectors, select + Add Connector, then Other, and enter the server URL below. Complete the authentication when prompted. Team members can then connect their own accounts at grok.com.

Step 1: Add DataDoe

  1. Open Grok Connectors (opens in a new tab).
  2. Select New Connector, then Custom.
  3. Enter this MCP server URL:
https://mcp.datadoe.com/mcp/v1

Use DataDoe as the name if Grok asks for one.

Step 2: Sign in to DataDoe

  1. Continue with the connector's authentication prompt.
  2. Sign in with your DataDoe account for the Organization you want to use.
  3. Finish authorization and return to Grok.

You do not need a DataDoe API key for this connection.

Step 3: Ask your first question

Send:

Use DataDoe to list my connected Amazon accounts.

Then ask:

Use DataDoe to summarize my Amazon sales and advertising spend for the last 7 days.

Name the Amazon account or marketplace if you manage more than one.

If you need help

If authorization fails, open the DataDoe connector and try connecting again. Complete sign-in before returning to Grok. If it still fails, contact DataDoe support with the error message and the time of the attempt.

If DataDoe is unavailable in a Business or Enterprise team, ask your team admin to add the custom connector in the xAI console.

If no data is returned, check your DataDoe Organization and Amazon connections, then ask Grok to use DataDoe explicitly.
