Your AI can change Amazon, not just read it.

Switch on Actions and your AI can move bids, fix listings and confirm Vendor orders. Most AI clients ask before a change, and every change is logged.

The main Action types,
in the names your AI sees

Grouped the way Amazon splits its own tools. W changes something on Amazon; R reads one record back, so a flow can check its work. Each type stays off until you switch it on.

Vendor invoices stay read-only: your AI reads them from the data tables, and no Action submits one.
  • WWrite: changes Amazon
  • RRead: checks one record
• Control

Nothing reaches Amazon until you say so

Actions run inside limits you set, and DataDoe keeps a record of each one. This is what stands between a prompt and a live change:

  • Writes are off by default, one Action type at a time.
  • The Seller or Vendor account is set to Read and write.
  • Most AI clients ask before each change, in their own prompt.
  • You can preview it as a dry run first, if you want to.
  • Every change is logged, with what Amazon answered.

Up to 500 live Actions per organization and 25 per Seller or Vendor connection. Dry runs don’t count.

• Where it runs

The AI you already use, or your own code

Every client below starts the same Action types through one MCP endpoint, under the same switches and the same log. Pick yours for the setup guide.

FAQ

Actions, answered.

Yes, through DataDoe Actions. Once you switch an Action type on and set the account to Read and write, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any other MCP client can change bids, budgets, listings, prices, A+ Content and orders through Amazon's official APIs. Most AI clients ask before a change, and every change is logged.

Your agent can acknowledge purchase orders, submit shipments and ASNs, and handle Direct Fulfillment orders and labels. Invoices stay read-only. Direct Fulfillment labels and packing slips carry the end customer's address, so those need the buyer data (PII) add-on.

An organization owner enables each Action type in Settings → Actions; every type, new ones included, starts disabled. Then set the Seller or Vendor account to Read and write on the Accounts page. Switch a type off again at any time and requests for it are refused.

Your AI client. Claude, ChatGPT and most other chat clients show the tool call and wait for your answer before DataDoe receives it, so keep that per-change prompt on for write tools. Unattended n8n or Zapier workflows have nobody to click Allow, so add an approval step of your own before a live call.

An optional preview. Your AI sends the same payload with dryRun set to true, and DataDoe checks it without changing anything on Amazon. Dry runs work even while the type is switched off and don't count toward the limits. Amazon still processes the live change on its side, so read the result once it runs.

DataDoe runs an Action on Amazon within 15 minutes of it starting. Amazon Ads changes apply as soon as Amazon receives them; listing changes can take from about 5 minutes to a few hours on Amazon's side.

Up to 500 live Actions per organization and 25 per Seller or Vendor connection. Live means pending, in progress or waiting for Amazon; dry runs are not counted. Over a limit, new Actions are refused until running ones finish, so batch several changes into one Action where you can.

They use AI Tokens from your plan: 3 tokens for an Action with up to 100 changes, plus 1 for each further 100. The Base Plan is $97 a month with 2,000 AI Tokens included, and you can try it free for 14 days.

Yes. Send POST /api/v1/actions with your datadoe-api-key header to start the same Action types, with dryRun for a preview, then read the status and Amazon's answer from GET /api/v1/actions/{actionId}.
