The Monday numbers
An Excel workbook whose margins are live formulas, so you can change a cost and watch the sheet follow.
Give Cowork your fresh Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads data, then hand it the jobs that eat your week. It comes back with a finished spreadsheet, memo or slide deck, and changes to Amazon stay off until you switch them on.
No code and no terminal. One custom connector, then plain-English briefs. DataDoe is $97 a month after a 14-day free trial.

Cowork plans the job, runs code in its own workspace and saves the result as Excel, PowerPoint, Word or CSV. DataDoe is where the Amazon numbers inside those files come from, pulled fresh from your own accounts.

One row per SKU with the order quantity and a ship-by date, sorted by how close each one is to running out.
A PowerPoint file with real charts that you can open, restyle and present.
Four of five settlement periods tie to orders, refunds and fees within $5.
Period Sep 15–29: $1,184 short. Two refunds were charged twice for order 113-4471… and a storage fee hit a SKU that had no FBA units.
Next step: open a case for the duplicate refund.
A short Word memo listing each gap and its likely cause, ready to forward to your bookkeeper.
Cowork reaches DataDoe as a custom connector. Because Claude calls the server from Anthropic’s cloud, there is nothing to install on your Mac or PC, and the same connector shows up in chat and in Claude Code on your account.
Start the free trial and authorize Seller Central, Vendor Central or Amazon Ads on Amazon’s own consent screen. The first data load starts right away.
Go to Customize → Connectors and click Add.
Name it DataDoe and paste the URL below, then Continue.
Keep the sign-in Claude detects, click Add, log in to DataDoe in the window that opens and approve access. No key to paste.
In a Cowork task, open the + menu, pick Connectors and make sure DataDoe is on. Then describe the job.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds DataDoe once under Organization settings → Connectors, and each person then clicks Connect on their own Connectors page. Full walkthrough in the DataDoe docs for Claude.
Add connector
Connect Claude to a remote MCP server.
Cowork gets better the more it knows about how you run Amazon. Put the standing rules in Cowork’s global instructions, then keep each task brief short: the goal, the data, the deliverable and where it must stop.
Every Amazon figure comes from DataDoe. If a number isn’t there, say so instead of estimating.
We sell in the US, Canada and the UK. Report everything in US dollars at the day’s rate.
Net margin means after referral and FBA fees, refunds, ad spend and landed cost.
Before any change to Amazon, show me the dry run and wait for my yes. Never touch prices on the Oak boards.
Save finished files to the Amazon Reports project, named by ISO week.
Find out why ad spend rose 30% last week while orders stayed flat.
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands search terms for the last 14 days, against the 14 before.
Group terms by campaign. Mark the ones with spend and no sales, and work out break-even ACoS per SKU.
A spreadsheet of terms to negate and bids to lower, plus a one-paragraph summary at the top.
Propose the negatives as a dry run. Don’t apply anything until I’ve read the sheet.
Working on a set of related jobs? Group them in a Cowork project with its own files and instructions, or install a plugin that bundles skills and connectors for one role. Plugins you add follow your account into chat and Claude Code.
A Cowork task can read everything you let it read. Changing something on Amazon has to pass two gates: Cowork’s permission for the DataDoe write tool, then DataDoe’s own rules for that kind of change. Here is the setup we recommend.
Cowork asks before each action. The default, and the one we suggest for any task that might write to Amazon.
Under the DataDoe connector, each tool can be Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked. This is where the real control sits.
Auto lets Claude judge write actions after a safety check; Skip pauses for nothing. Keep both away from live Amazon changes.
| DataDoe tool | What it does | Cowork setting | DataDoe’s own safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|
Read reports and exportsexports_create, exports_get | Pulls sales, fees, inventory, ads or Vendor Central data into the task. | Always allow | Read-only. Nothing on Amazon can change. |
See your accountssellers_and_vendors_list | Lists the Seller, Vendor and Ads accounts this login can reach. | Always allow | Read-only. |
Propose or make a changeactions_start | Starts an Action: a price, a listing field, a shipment, a campaign budget or bid. | Needs approval | Off until you enable each kind of change in DataDoe. Can run as a dry run that validates and sends nothing. |
Check what happenedactions_list | Shows the Actions that ran, with their result. | Always allow | Every Action that runs is logged in DataDoe. |
Scheduled tasks nobody watchesactions_start | A weekly or daily run that should only read and report. | Blocked | Or keep Actions switched off in DataDoe altogether. |
Open Scheduled in the Cowork sidebar, or type /schedule in a task that worked, and pick how often it repeats. Tasks that only use connectors and files in your Claude account run in the cloud, even while your computer sleeps.
Two things to know. A task that needs a folder on your computer runs only when the desktop app is open. And an unattended run should read, not write: set DataDoe’s write tool to Blocked for scheduled work and let the proposals wait for you.
The Monday task starts on Anthropic’s servers, not on your machine.
DataDoe refreshed your accounts overnight, so last week is complete: orders, refunds, fees, ad spend and stock.
Cowork joins the tables, applies your margin definition and compares with the week before.
The workbook and a short summary are saved to your Claude account, ready to open on any device.
Open Claude on your phone or desktop and read the flags. If a change is worth making, run it with Cowork while you watch.
Cowork is built for people who don’t write code, which is most of the people running an Amazon business. These are the jobs each role tends to delegate first, all running on data DataDoe pulls from Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads.
Sales, profit and stock across every marketplace, with the three things that changed most and why.
Every SKU whose Featured Offer price drifted below the margin you set, with the fix proposed as a dry run.
Quarter-to-date revenue, contribution margin and ad efficiency, laid out as slides.
Days of cover per FBA SKU against supplier lead times, with quantities and ship-by dates.
Units that are stranded, unfulfillable or nearing long-term storage fees, with what each one costs you.
Every open shipment, units shipped against units received, and anything stuck at check-in.
Each settlement period matched to orders, refunds and fees, with the gaps listed by order ID.
Revenue, fees by type, refunds, ad spend and inventory value for the close, one sheet each.
SKUs whose referral or FBA fee per unit moved since last month, and the margin impact.
New Vendor Central purchase orders against your stock, with a suggested confirm, partial or reject per line.
Shipped revenue, confirmation rate and forecast against stock, as a deck for the call.
ASINs where Amazon’s demand forecast is higher than what you can ship in the next eight weeks.
The same weekly layout for each brand you manage, every client’s figures pulled from their own linked accounts.
Wasted spend by client, with negatives and bid cuts proposed as dry runs for the account lead to approve.
Listings, ads and inventory health for a brand that just signed, written up as a first-week memo.
Add DataDoe to your Claude account once and every Claude surface sees the same Amazon data and the same Actions. Choose by what you want back: an answer, a finished file or a piece of software.
Quick questions in a conversation: what sold yesterday, why ACoS jumped, which listing lost the Featured Offer.
Multi-step work you would otherwise do in spreadsheets for an hour, finished as a file and repeatable on a schedule.
Code that keeps running without Claude: a dashboard, an alert, a pipeline into your warehouse, a bulk edit driven from a file.
Cowork is the mode of Claude that takes on multi-step tasks instead of single questions: it plans the work, runs code in an isolated workspace and hands back finished files. It has no Amazon access of its own. Add DataDoe as a custom connector and Cowork can read your Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads data, and propose changes through DataDoe Actions.
Cowork needs a paid Claude plan: Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. It runs in Claude Desktop on macOS and Windows, and Anthropic is rolling it out on the web and in the mobile apps, with Enterprise access set by an admin. Check Anthropic's current plan page, since availability changes often.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and click Add. Name it DataDoe, paste https://mcp.datadoe.com/mcp/v1, keep the detected sign-in, click Add and log in to DataDoe to approve. On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings, and each member connects their own login.
Not with the setup we recommend. Every kind of change is switched off in DataDoe until you enable it, a dry run checks a change without sending it, and every change that does run is logged. On the Cowork side, set the DataDoe write tool to Needs approval, or Blocked for scheduled tasks, and use Manual mode for anything that may write.
Yes, if the task only needs connectors and files saved to your Claude account: those run on Anthropic's servers on the cadence you pick, hourly to weekly. A task that needs a folder on your computer runs only while the desktop app is open. DataDoe refreshes your Amazon data overnight, so an early-morning task sees the previous day complete.
Amazon's plugin covers Seller Central for US sellers. DataDoe adds Vendor Central and Amazon Ads in the same schema, your product costs for real profit, history and all your marketplaces, plus BigQuery and API access. For Cowork that means one task can put a vendor PO, a 3P offer and the ad spend behind it in one spreadsheet.
Yes. Cowork comes with your Claude subscription, and multi-step tasks use more of its limits than chat does. On the DataDoe side the price is $97 a month once the 14-day free trial is over, with all your linked Amazon accounts included.
On a short call we set up Cowork on a demo account with you, then write and schedule your first Amazon brief together.
Book a demoLink Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads once, and Cowork turns fresh numbers into finished files — with writes to Amazon off until you switch them on.
