Dots are OpenAI’s always-on agents. Give one DataDoe and it reads live Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads data, runs your checks on schedule, and asks before it changes anything on Amazon.
Yesterday’s orders, fees and ad spend are in for all marketplaces.
Ceramic pour-over set runs out 9 days before its inbound shipment lands. Posted to Slack.
A reseller undercut you by $1.20. Matching keeps a 22% margin. Dry run passed.
“pour over coffee maker” hit 61% ACoS. Bid lowered 15%, inside your limit.
A new policy warning arrived. Not something to fix alone.
Most ChatGPT use is a conversation: you ask, it answers, it stops. A dot holds on to a goal and keeps working toward it on its own schedule, even with your laptop closed.
Each routine is one instruction you give the dot once. DataDoe supplies the data, and the dot’s rules decide what it may do without asking.
Instruction for your dot
Every three hours, check my top 50 ASINs for a lost Featured Offer. If a competitor undercuts me, work out the lowest price that keeps a 20% margin, prepare it as a dry run and ask me before submitting.
Instruction for your dot
Every morning, flag any SKU that will run out before its next inbound shipment arrives. Say which day it runs out and what that costs in lost sales.
Instruction for your dot
Twice a day, find keywords spending above their break-even ACoS based on my real margin. Lower bids by up to 20% on your own, and ask me before pausing anything.
Instruction for your dot
Every hour, check for suppressed or blocked listings. Draft the fix against Amazon’s product type rules, run it as a dry run and ask me before submitting.
Instruction for your dot
Every Monday at 08:00, post a profit summary per brand to #amazon: profit after fees, ads and COGS, what moved since last week, and what you recommend.
A dot takes a rule for each kind of action: act alone, ask first, or hand it back to you. DataDoe adds its own gate underneath, so a loose rule can never reach further than the permissions you granted.
| What the dot wants to do | A sensible dot rule | DataDoe gate |
|---|---|---|
| Read reports and account data | Act alone | Read access, on from the start |
| Message you in Slack, Teams or ChatGPT | Act alone | Not an Amazon change |
| Change ad bids within a set limit | Act alone | Amazon Ads Action type switched on, dry run first |
| Change a price | Ask first | Separate price permission, dry run first |
| Edit listing content or images | Ask first | Listings Action type switched on, dry run first |
| Confirm FBM shipments | Ask first | Orders Action type switched on |
| Account Health, policy or appeals | Hand back | No Action exists, so it can’t act |
Every Action is logged with its payload. You can switch off an Action type or remove the app at any time.
Run one routine across the whole portfolio, or give each client its own. The dot sees every account you manage, and only the accounts you manage.
Monday brief: 14 accounts checked, 2 need you today.
You need a ChatGPT plan that includes dots and admin rights in your workspace. The first three steps take about five minutes.
Authorize Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads in DataDoe, on Amazon’s own consent pages.
Generate a secure URL in DataDoe. In ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode, create the app in Workspace settings → Apps and publish it.
Check that your workspace lets dots use custom apps. On Enterprise, your admin may need to approve it.
Tell the dot what to watch, how often, and the rule for each action. Start read-only and widen it later.
Dots launched on higher ChatGPT plans first. The DataDoe app works on every paid plan where you can turn on Developer mode.

Dots are always-on agents that OpenAI launched at DevDay on 29 September 2026. Each dot runs on GPT-6 Astra, has its own cloud computer and browser, works toward goals you set, runs recurring jobs and follows up on its own. It reports back wherever you choose: ChatGPT, Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Yes, in two ways. It can open Seller Central in its browser, which is slow and breaks when screens change. Or it can use the DataDoe app, which gives it live Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads data through Amazon's official APIs, joined by SKU and ASIN with your costs.
Only within two sets of limits. The dot's own rule decides whether it acts alone, asks first or hands the job back. DataDoe adds its own gate: every Action type is off until you switch it on, prices need a separate permission, and every change is validated with Amazon as a dry run first.
The first dot comes with ChatGPT Pro and with Business Premium. Enterprise customers get dots once an admin turns them on. Free, Go and Plus accounts have no dots for now, and Pro users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are not yet covered.
Yes. DataDoe joins Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads in one schema, so a dot can watch Retail Analytics, purchase orders, Net PPM and campaign data as well as seller data, and manage Sponsored Products, Brands and Display campaigns when you allow it.
Changes that matter wait for your approval, every change runs as a dry run with Amazon before it is submitted, and every Action is logged with its payload. You can switch off any Action type, or remove the app from your workspace, at any time.
DataDoe costs $97 a month after a 14-day free trial, with every Amazon account included. Your ChatGPT plan is billed separately by OpenAI.
We'll help you design the routines and rules on your own accounts, and show what a dot can safely do alone.
Book a demoConnect Amazon once. Your dot gets live data, your rules, and a dry run on every change — you get the morning off.
