Grok Bot runs your Amazon week

Connect DataDoe once and every Bot you own can read Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads on its cloud computer. Hand it the Monday P&L and the weekly stock checks, and make every change to Amazon wait for your yes.

Grok Bot is in beta on SuperGrok, X Premium+, Grok Business and paid Cursor plans. DataDoe is $97 a month after a 14-day free trial.

• Routines

The weekly Amazon chores, done before Monday

Describe a job once and the Bot turns it into a routine with a schedule. It runs on the Bot’s cloud computer with DataDoe’s numbers, laptop closed or not, and posts what it found in your chat.

Need one answer now rather than a routine? Ask Grok on the web with the same DataDoe connection.

• Team Bots

One Bot in Slack, each person signed in

A Team Bot can get its own Slack app. Your PPC lead and your ops lead @mention the same Bot in one thread, and because DataDoe signs in with OAuth, it answers each of them with their own DataDoe access. Team Bots are in public beta on Teams and Enterprise plans.

• Approvals

Write the rules before the first change

Grok Bot’s Auto-review checks plugin calls before they run. Add plain-language rules in Settings → General → Auto-review, and a matching DataDoe call stops on an approval card with Allow once, Always allow and Deny.

  • Ask first always wins. Even if someone later clicks Always allow on a matching card, an Ask first rule still stops the call.
  • Routines don’t wait forever. An approval raised while you’re away expires after about 10 minutes and nothing runs. Ask the Bot to try again when you’re back.
  • DataDoe keeps its own switches. Writes are off by default, one Action type at a time. You can preview a change as a dry run, and every change is logged.

• Setup

Set it up in about 5 minutes

You ask a Bot in chat, and DataDoe is installed as a plugin for every Bot on your account. Add it once, then attach it in any chat with @DataDoe.

  1. 1

    Ask any Bot

Open the Grok Bot app and send this. There is no settings form for custom servers; the chat is the setup.

Add a custom MCP server named DataDoe at https://mcp.datadoe.com/mcp/v1.
  2. 2

    Check the URL

The Add MCP Server card repeats the address. Confirm it reads exactly this, then add the server.

  3. 3

    Sign in with DataDoe

Select Authorize, sign in and pick your Organization. OAuth only: no API key, no proxy. Doing this from the desktop app is the smoothest route.

  4. 4

    Approve the first call

Ask for your accounts, allow the card once, then add your Ask first rule for Actions.

FAQ

Grok Bot, answered.

Grok Bot is in beta. It comes with SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus and SuperGrok Heavy, X Premium+, Grok Business seats and Cursor Pro, Pro+, Ultra and Teams; Enterprise is switched on through xAI. It is not on the Free or SuperGrok Lite plans, and its usage resets weekly. DataDoe is billed on its own: The Base Plan is $97 a month after a 14-day free trial.

Grok Bot uses a Cursor account for sign-in, and on a team it follows the connector policy on the Cursor team's Plugins & MCPs page. If the DataDoe plugin shows Disabled by team admin, that is where an admin allows it. Writing code in Cursor too? See Amazon data in Cursor.

Yes, with a Team Bot, in public beta on Teams and Enterprise plans. The owner adds DataDoe under the Bot's Setup, then Plugins. Because DataDoe signs in with OAuth, each teammate connects their own DataDoe account the first time, and the Bot answers them with that access. A published Team Bot can have its own Slack app.

Yes: tag @bot in a post and your main Bot takes the post as a task. It is not available for X accounts based in the EU, UK, Australia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.

Turn on Auto-review and add an Ask first rule such as "Ask first before any DataDoe Action". Matching calls then stop on a card with Allow once, Always allow and Deny. On the DataDoe side, writes are off by default, you can preview a change as a dry run, and every change is logged.

Not in Grok Bot. Its custom connectors sign in with OAuth, and there is no safe field for a header secret. Use the DataDoe sign-in, which also lets a Team Bot answer each person with their own access.

No. All your Bots share one cloud computer, so don't treat separate Bots as a security boundary. Connector sign-in tokens stay on the service's backend, not on that computer, and DataDoe's own Action switches apply whichever Bot calls it.

DataDoe refreshes daily, with key tables updated during the day. When you connect an account, about two years of history is backfilled, recent data first, so the first Monday routine can already compare against last year.
