The best AI tools for Amazon sellers in 2026, sorted by job: Amazon's free Seller Assistant, the Selling Partner plugin, Ads MCP, research suites and more.
Most lists of the best AI tools for Amazon sellers were written before September 2026, and they miss the biggest change of the year: Amazon now ships its own AI agent, free, inside Seller Central, Claude and Amazon Quick. That changes which third-party tools are still worth paying for.
This guide sorts the tools by the job they do, starts with what Amazon gives you for free, and is honest about where each one stops. Use it to decide what to switch on today and what to add later.
Best for: questions about your account, diagnosing problems, and small fixes. Seller Assistant, formerly Project Amelia, is the agentic assistant inside Seller Central. It reports on sales, units and traffic, investigates blocked listings, stranded inventory, storage fees and Featured Offer eligibility, files support cases and, with permission, edits listings. Since 23 September 2026 it has memory and Workflows: saved automations that run 24/7, including an Account Health Monitor, a Pricing Analyzer and an Order & Returns Digest.
Where it stops: one Seller Central account, US-first for the agentic features, no Vendor Central, no Amazon Ads, no export of your data. Read our full Seller Assistant guide.
Best for: US sellers who already work in Claude. The plugin is Amazon's official remote MCP server for Seller Central. It lets Claude read listings, inventory, traffic and sales, edit listings and prices, and run the FBA inbound flow, each action approved by you. It is generally available in Amazon Quick and in beta in Claude.
Where it stops: US stores and third-party sellers only, Claude and Quick only, no Amazon Ads, no settlements or fees, no Brand Analytics, no history beyond aggregate metrics. Setup and limits are in our Selling Partner plugin guide.
Best for: building your own agents on Seller Central data inside Amazon's workspace. Amazon is offering every primary account holder 12 months of Quick Plus free, plus two co-workers, for sign-ups before 31 December 2026. It is worth claiming even if you only experiment.
Best for: connecting an AI assistant to your ad account. Amazon's Ads MCP server has been in open beta since February 2026 and covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud. It is a separate stack from Seller Assistant, with its own credentials, so it knows your ads but not your orders, fees or inventory.
Best for: first drafts of titles, bullets and descriptions inside Seller Central. Review every draft before you publish: AI rewrites can drop the keywords a listing already ranks for.
Helium 10 and Jungle Scout remain the default research suites, and both have added AI features on top of their keyword and product databases. Tools such as ZonGuru, AMZScout and Data Dive cover similar ground with different depth and price points.
This is the category Amazon's own AI does not replace. Seller Assistant has a Product Expansion Finder workflow, but it works from your account, not from market-wide search and sales estimates. If you launch products regularly, keep one research suite.
Dedicated listing tools such as CopyMonkey generate and optimise titles, bullets and descriptions around your keywords. General assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude do the same job well if you give them your keyword research and your brand rules.
The test that matters is not how fluent the copy is but whether it keeps the search terms you rank for. Compare old and new versions against your keyword list before you publish.
Ad automation platforms such as Intentwise, Perpetua and Pacvue manage bids, budgets and targeting at scale, and they earn their fee on large ad budgets and agency portfolios. For smaller accounts, Amazon's own Ads MCP server plus an AI assistant now covers routine analysis for free.
What neither category does on its own is judge ads against real profit. ACOS tells you what an ad cost relative to ad-attributed sales; it does not know your fees, returns or COGS. That needs ad data joined to order and fee data.
AI repricers such as Seller Snap move prices against competitors and Buy Box conditions. Seller Assistant's Pricing Analyzer workflow now suggests and applies price changes too, so check whether a free workflow covers your catalogue before you pay for a repricer. Whatever you use, set a margin floor per SKU, and base it on real fees rather than an estimate.
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor are the most flexible AI tools an Amazon seller can use, but only once they can see your data. On their own they only know what you paste in. Connected through MCP, they can pull live numbers, build reports and dashboards, and run scheduled checks.
There are two ways to connect them. Amazon's Selling Partner plugin connects Claude to one US Seller Central account. A data layer such as DataDoe connects any of these assistants to Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads together. If you are weighing AI against hiring help, read Amazon seller virtual assistant vs AI.
DataDoe is the Amazon data layer for AI agents. It pulls Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads into one schema of 100+ tables, reconciles fees and settlements into a real P&L, and exposes all of it to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, a REST API and BigQuery. With Actions switched on, an AI can also change listings, orders, shipments and Amazon Ads, with a dry-run mode for testing.
Best for: vendors and hybrid sellers, agencies with many client accounts, brands selling in several marketplaces, anyone who needs ads judged against profit or wants their Amazon history in their own warehouse. Price: $97 a month with a 14-day free trial.
Amazon's Seller Assistant. It is free, built into Seller Central, answers questions about your own account and, with permission, fixes common problems. Pair it with the free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus offer if you sign up before 31 December 2026.
Not through Amazon's official plugin, which supports Claude and Amazon Quick. ChatGPT can connect to Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads data through a third-party MCP server such as DataDoe. See how to connect Amazon to ChatGPT.
Using AI tools that connect through Amazon's official authorisation is normal, and Amazon now ships its own. What gets accounts in trouble is what the tool does: fake reviews, manipulated listings, scraping, or changes that break Amazon's policies. Check every automated change, especially to listings.
Amazon's Seller Assistant and Selling Partner plugin do not cover Vendor Central. DataDoe connects Vendor Central data to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants.
For a single US seller with simple questions, Seller Assistant may be enough. Paid tools earn their place for market research, large ad budgets, several accounts or marketplaces, Vendor Central, and P&L that reconciles to Amazon's own money.
DataDoe is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon or any tool named here. Product names belong to their owners. Amazon details come from Amazon's help pages and its 23 September 2026 announcement; third-party tools change often, so check each vendor's current features and pricing.
